And mention thou in the Book Musa: verily he was single-hearted, and was an apostle, prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the Mount, and We drew him near to Us by communing to him in secret, 52 And with Our mercy We bestowed upon him his brother Haroon, a Prophet. 53 And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet. 54 He exhorted his people to prayer and almsgiving, and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet. 56 We granted him a high position. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ Yet they were succeeded by generations [of people] who lost all [thought of] prayer and followed [but] their own lusts; and these will, in time, meet with utter disillusion. 59 Except those who repented and accepted faith and did good deeds – so these will enter heaven, and they will not be deprived* in the least. (* Of their due reward.) 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 They will not hear any lewd talk in it, but only Peace; and in it for them is sustenance, every morning and evening. 62 That is Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who are godfearing. 63 AND [the angels say]: "We do not descend [with revelation,] again and again, other than by thy Sustainer's command: unto Him belongs all that lies open before us and all that is hidden from us and all that is in-between. And never does thy Sustainer forget [anything] 64 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Worship, then, Him alone, and remain steadfast in His worship! Dost thou know any whose name is worthy to be mentioned side by side with His?" 65
