AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Moses. Behold, he was a chosen one, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet. 51 And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse). 52 And, out of Our Mercy, We gave him his brother Aaron, (also) a prophet. 53 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Ishmael; he was true to his promise, a Messengers and a Prophet. 54 He bade his people to pray and to give the alms, and he was pleasing to his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book Idris; he was a true man, a Prophet. 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom, 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 Theirs shall be everlasting Gardens which the Most Compassionate Lord has promised His servants in a realm which is beyond the ken of perception. Surely His promise shall he fulfilled. 61 They hear therein no idle talk, but only Peace; and therein they have food for morn and evening. 62 this is the paradise which We grant as a heritage unto such of Our servants as are conscious of Us. 63 (The angels will say): "(O Muhammad!) We descend not except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that is in between. Your Lord is not forgetful in the least. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?" 65
