Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We shall then rescue the pious – and leave the unjust in it, fallen on their knees. 72 When Our revelations are recited to them, the unbelievers say to the faithful ones, "Which of us is more prosperous?" 73 How numerous are the peoples We destroyed before them - those that were more resourceful and grander in outward appearance! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
