Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely Ar-Rahman will show love for those who believe and do the right. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
