Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 They say: "God has begotten a son." 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
