Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 None will have power to intercede for them except one who obtains a promise from Ar-Rahman. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 None is there in the heavens and earth but he comes to the All-merciful as a servant; 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
