[Moses] said, "My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance] 25 And ease my task for me; 26 "And remove the impediment from my speech, 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 and appoint for me, out of my kinsfolk, one who will help me to bear my burden: 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 and remember you often. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 He said: surely thou art granted thy petition, O Musa! 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 Go to him and say, 'We are both messengers from your Lord. Let the Children of Israel go with us, and do not oppress them. We have brought you a Sign from your Lord, and may peace be upon whoever follows the right guidance; 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat, [then, of this produce of the soil,] and pasture your cattle [thereon].
