He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 "And ease my task for me; 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 And give me as assistant from my family 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 “Back me up with him.” 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 That we may sing Your praises much, 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 When thy sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and we restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow. And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress, and tried thee with a heavy trial. And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian. Then camest thou (hither) by (My) providence, O Moses, 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you, unto Pharaoh. Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 The twain said: O our Lord! verily we fear that he may hasten against us or wax exorbitant. 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 (Pharaoh) said: "What then is the condition of previous generations?" 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
