Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And make my mission easy. 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we exalt You 33 and remember you often. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And indeed, another time, already We have shown thee favour, 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 And I have attached thee to Myself. 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 They both said, "Our Lord, We fear that he may commit some excess against us, or exceed all bounds in transgression." 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 "So go you both to him, and say: 'Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 Moses replied, "The knowledge about it is with my Lord in the Book. My Lord is free from error and forgetfulness. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
