۞ To Abraham We gave the right guidance and We knew him very well. 51 Recall, when he said to his father and his people: "What are these images to which you are devoutly clinging?" 52 They replied, "We found our fathers worshipping them". 53 He said: "You and your fathers were in clear error." 54 They said: hast thou come unto us with the truth, or art thou of those who sport? 55 He said: "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them and of that I am one of the witnesses. 56 And [I swear] by Allah, I will surely plan against your idols after you have turned and gone away." 57 He broke all the idols into pieces, except the biggest among them so that perhaps people would refer to it. 58 They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!" 59 They said, 'We heard a young man making mention of them, and he was called Abraham.' 60 They said, 'Bring him before the people's eyes; haply they shall bear witness.' 61 They said, “Did you do this to our Gods, O Ibrahim?” 62 He replied, "I think the biggest among them has broken the smaller ones. Ask them if they are able to speak". 63 Then they turned to one another and said, "It is you yourselves who are in the wrong," 64 then they hung their heads, and said, "O Abraham! You know they cannot speak." 65 He said, "Do you, instead of God, worship things that can neither harm nor benefit you?" 66 Fie upon you and upon that which ye worship beside Allah! Will ye not then reflect? 67 They said, "Burn him and protect your gods, If ye do (anything at all)!" 68 We said: O fire, be coolness and peace for Abraham, 69 And they intended to do him an evil, but We made them the worst losers. 70 But We delivered him and (his nephew) Lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations. 71 And We bestowed on him Isaac and, as an additional gift, (a grandson), Jacob, and We made righteous men of every one (of them). 72 and appointed them to be leaders guiding by Our command, and We revealed to them the doing of good deeds, and to perform the prayer, and to pay the alms, and Us they served. 73 And to Lut, too, We gave Judgment and Knowledge, and We saved him from the town which practised abominations: truly they were a people given to Evil, a rebellious people. 74 And We admitted him into Our mercy. Verily he was of the righteous. 75

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
