The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The believers have indeed attained true success: 1 Those who in their prayer are lowly. 2 those who turn away from all that is frivolous; 3 And those who for the sake of purification are doers. 4 And those who of their private parts are guards. 5 Save in regard to their spouses and those whom their right hands own: so they are not blameworthy 6 (but whosoever seeks after more than that, those are the transgressors) 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 They are the inheritors. 10 Who will inherit Paradise, and live in it for ever. 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 Then We placed him as a sperm in a firmly established lodging; 13 then We created of the drop a clot then We created of the clot a tissue then We created of the tissue bones then We garmented the bones in flesh; thereafter We produced him as another creature. So blessed be God, the fairest of creators! 14 Then verily, thereafter, ye are sure to die. 15 and be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And assuredly We created above you seven paths, and of the creation We have not been neglectful. 17 And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away. 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 also a tree growing on Mount Sinai which produces oil and a condiment for those who eat it. 20 And indeed there is also a lesson for you in cattle. We provide you with drink out of what they have in their bellies; and you have many other benefits in them: you eat of them, 21 And upon them and on ships you are carried. 22
