The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Who are humble in their service, 2 Who avoid vain talk; 3 And those who pay the Zakat. 4 and who are mindful of their chastity, 5 save from their wives, or those whom their right hands possess; for with regard to them they are free from blame " 6 So whoever desires more than these two – they are crossing the limits. 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 And those who of their prayers are observant. 9 Those are the heirs 10 Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally. 11 We have created the human being from an extract of clay 12 Then made him a drop of fluid in a secure shelter. 13 then We made this drop into a clot, then We made the clot into a lump, then We made the lump into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We caused it to grow into another creation. Thus Most Blessed is Allah, the Best of all those that create. 14 After that, surely, you will die. 15 Then you will be raised up again on the Resurrection Day. 16 And assuredly We created above you seven paths, and of the creation We have not been neglectful. 17 And We sent down water from the sky in proper measure, then stored it in the earth; and indeed We are Able to take it away! 18 And by means of this [water] We bring forth for you gardens of date-palms and vines, wherein you have fruit abundant and whereof you eat, 19 as well as a tree that issues from [the lands adjoining] Mount Sinai, yielding oil and relish for all to eat. 20 And indeed there is also a lesson for you in cattle. We provide you with drink out of what they have in their bellies; and you have many other benefits in them: you eat of them, 21 and upon them and on the ships you are carried. 22
