We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people, worship God, for you have no other god but He. Will you not take heed for yourselves?" 23 Then said the chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people: this is no other than a human being like unto you, he seeketh to make himself superior unto you; and if God had willed, He would have sent down angels; we have not heard of this among our fathers ancient. 24 He is nothing but a madman: so bear with him for a while." 25 Said [Noah]: "O my Sustainer! Succour me against their accusation of lying!" 26 So We inspired him (saying): "Construct the ship under Our Eyes and under Our Revelation (guidance). Then, when Our Command comes, and the oven gushes forth water, take on board of each kind two (male and female), and your family, except those thereof against whom the Word has already gone forth. And address Me not in favour of those who have done wrong. Verily, they are to be drowned. 27 And when thou hast embarked on the Ark - thou and those with thee,- say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has saved us from the people who do wrong." 28 And say, "'O my Lord, do Thou harbour me in a blessed harbour, for Thou art the best of harbourers." 29 There are great Signs in this story; and surely We do put people to test. 30 After them We raised a new generation. 31 and We sent among them a Messenger from among themselves, saying: "Serve Allah; you have no god other than He. Do you have no fear?" 32

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
