O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 This community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so hold Me alone in fear. 52 Yet they have split their affairs between themselves into sects, each rejoicing in what it has. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 Are quickly giving them goodness? In fact, they do not know. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 who believe in the verses of their Lord; 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 Who give whatsoever they give (in His way), and their hearts tremble with fear that they have to go back to their Lord, 60 These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race. 61 And We tax not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 (It will be said): "Groan not in supplication this day: for ye shall certainly not be helped by Us. 65 My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it, perchance, that they have not recognized their Apostle, and so they disavow him? 69 Or say they: There is a madness in him? Nay, but he bringeth them the Truth; and most of them are haters of the Truth. 70 And had the Truth followed their desires, then indeed the heavens and the earth and all those who are in them would be destroyed; in fact We brought to them a thing in which lay their repute, so they are turned away from their own repute. 71 Or do you ask of them any tribute? In that case the tribute of your Lord is better, for He is the best of providers. 72 Assuredly thou art calling them to a straight path; 73 And verily, those who believe not in the Hereafter are indeed deviating far astray from the Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 74 ۞ And though We have mercy on them We may remove whatsoever of hurt is with them, surely they would persist in their exorbitance, wandering perplexed. 75 And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allah) with submission to Him. 76 until, when We open against them a door of terrible chastisement, lo, they are sore confounded at it. 77
