It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say, "To God." Say, "So will you not pay heed? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: Will you not then guard (against evil)? 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say: "(All that belongs) to Allah." Say: "How then are you deceived and turn away from the truth?" 89 We have sent them the Truth: but they indeed practise falsehood! 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
