It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say thou: whose is the earth and whosoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
