Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 And they whose weight [of righteousness] is heavy in the balance - it is they, they who will have attained to a happy state; 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (We shall say): 'Were My verses not recited to you, and did you not belie them' 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 'Slink you into it,' He shall say, 'and do not speak to Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 He will say: "You stayed only for a while, if you only knew that. 114 Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us' 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 Hence, he who invokes, side by side with God, any other deity - [a deity] for whose existence he has no evidence - shall but find his reckoning with his Sustainer: [and,] verily, such deniers of the truth will never attain to a happy state! 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
