Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: "O my Sustainer! I seek refuge with Thee from the promptings of all evil impulses; 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 But those whose balance is light, will be those who have lost their souls, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
