Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 Say, "Lord, forgive us and have mercy. You are the best of those who show mercy." 118
