SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I might act righteously in whatever I have failed [aforetime]!" Nay, it is indeed but a [meaningless] word that he utters: for behind those [who leave the world] there is a barrier [of death] until the Day when all will be raised from the dead! 100 So when the Trumpet is blown so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
