Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The fire burneth their faces, and they are glum therein. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 They will be asked: "How long did you live on the earth in terms of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
