۞ Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! 21 There will be no good tidings for the guilty on the day they see the angels; and they will cry out, "Keep away, keep away!" 22 Then We shall turn to what they had done and render it vain like scattered dust. 23 Those who have earned the Garden on that day will be better in their home and happier in their place of noonday rest; 24 On a Day when the sky will split open with its clouds and the angels are sent down rank upon rank, 25 That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the misbelievers. 26 And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist, etc.) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad SAW). 27 Woe alas, ah would I had not taken so-and-so as friend! 28 he made me forgetful of the warning after it had reached me. Satan is man's great betrayer." 29 The Messenger will say, "Lord, my people did indeed discard the Quran," 30 Even so We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy among the sinners; but thy Lord suffices as a guide and as a helper. 31 The unbelievers say, 'Why has the Koran not been sent down upon him all at once?' Even so, that We may strengthen thy heart thereby, and We have chanted it very distinctly. 32 There is not an example they advance to which We do not give you a right answer and a better explanation. 33 those who are going to be driven to Hell upon their faces, have taken an utterly wrong stand and their way is most erroneous! 34
