The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 And the promised day, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 Cursed were the companions of the trench 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And what did they dislike from the Muslims, except that the Muslims accepted faith in Allah the Most Honourable, the Most Praiseworthy? 8 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Owner of the Throne, the Exalted. 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
