Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; 63 who pass the night prostrate to their Lord and standing; 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 evil it is as a lodging-place and an abode'; 66 And they who when they spend, are neither extravagant nor parsimonious, and (keep) between these the just mean. 67 who call not upon another god with God, nor slay the soul God has forbidden except by right, neither fornicate, for whosoever does that shall meet the price 68 The punishment shall be doubled to him on the day of resurrection, and he shall abide therein in abasement; 69 Excepted, however, shall be they who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they whose [erstwhile] bad deeds God will transform into good ones - seeing that God is indeed much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace, 70 Those who repent and act righteously have truly returned to God, 71 And [know that true servants of God are only] those who never bear witness to what is false, and [who,] whenever they pass by [people engaged in] frivolity, pass on with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 Those who say: 'Lord give us of our wives and children what pleases our eyes and make us leaders to the fearful' 74 Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect. 75 and wherein they will live for ever: what an excellent abode and what an excellent resting place! 76 Say: "My Lord is not concerned on your account if you do not pray to Him. You have surely done with denying; soon will come the inevitable judgement. 77
