When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 He said, 'My Lord, I fear they will cry me lies, 12 and my breast will be straitened, and my tongue will not be loosed; so send to Aaron. 13 And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me. 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 They came to the Pharaoh and said, "We are the Messengers of the Lord of the Universe. 16 (Saying): Let the Children of Israel go with us. 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 "And thou didst a deed of thine which (thou knowest) thou didst, and thou art an ungrateful (wretch)!" 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 So I ran away from you out of fear. But my Lord has given me wisdom, and made me an apostle. 21 And that favour wherewith thou didst oblige me was that thou hadst enslaved the Children of Isra'il? 22 Fir'awn said: and what is the Lord of the worlds? 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 He said: Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers. 26 [Pharaoh] said, "Indeed, your 'messenger' who has been sent to you is mad." 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 (Pharaoh) said: If thou choosest a god other than me, I assuredly shall place thee among the prisoners. 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 The Pharaoh replied, "Bring it, if you are telling the truth." 31 So (Moses) cast his staff, and lo, it turned into a living serpent. 32 and he drew forth his hand - and lo! it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33
