And (remember) when your Lord called Musa (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing), 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing. 15 Then come to Firon and say: Surely we are the apostles of the Lord of the worlds: 16 that you let the Children of Israel go with us.'" 17 (The Pharaoh) said: "Did we not bring you up as a child? And you lived a number of years of your life with us. 18 And [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful." 19 Said he, 'Indeed I did it then, being one of those that stray; 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said: And what is the Lord of the Worlds? 23 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty." 24 Pharaoh said to those around him: "Do you hear (what he says)?" 25 Musa (Moses) said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!" 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest? 30 Pharaoh said: "Then bring it if you are truthful at all." 31 So [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
