When your Lord called out to Moses, saying, "Go to the wrongdoing people, 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 He said: my Lord! verily I fear they shall belie me. 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 “And they have an accusation against me, so I fear that they may kill me.” 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 "So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds; 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said [to Musa (Moses)]: "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us. 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 Moses replied, "I did that when I was one of the misguided, 20 Then I ran away from you in fear, but my Lord granted me the law and has appointed me as a Messenger. 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 Musa (Moses) said: "Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty." 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 [Pharaoh] exclaimed: "Behold, [this] your 'apostle' who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed! 27 He said, “The Lord of the East and the West and all that is between them; if you have sense.” 28 'If you take any other god except myself' he (Pharaoh) replied, 'you shall be thrown into prison' 29 [Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?" 30 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!" 31 So [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest. 32 And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders! 33
