۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 As such We expelled them from their gardens and their fountains, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
