۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
