And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 and the jinn before (the human being) of smokeless fire. 27 And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "I will create a human being out of clay from an altered black mud. 28 "So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him (Adam) the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him." 29 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 But Iblis (did it not); he refused to be with those who made obeisance. 31 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?" 32 Iblis replied, "I did not want to prostrate before a human being whom You have created out of mud-moulded clay". 33 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 34 and the curse shall be on you till the Day of Judgement!" 35 He said: my Lord! respite me then till the Day whereon they will be raised up. 36 The Lord said, "Your request is granted 37 "Till the Day of the Time appointed." 38 [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all 39 Save such of them as are Thy perfectly devoted slaves. 40 [Allah] said, "This is a path [of return] to Me [that is] straight. 41 "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawin (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.). 42 And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all! 43 It has seven gates; for every gate there shall be a separate party of them. 44
