۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
