۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 "And verily, they have done what has enraged us; 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
