۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then brought We near the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 Then drowned the others. 66 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
