۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
