۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 and when the two groups saw each other, Moses' companions said, "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
