And recount to them the story of Abraham: 69 when he said to his father and his people, 'What do you serve?' 70 They said, “We worship idols, and we keep squatting in seclusion before them.” 71 He said: "Do they hear you, when you call (on them)? 72 Or do they benefit you, or do you harm?" 73 They said: "No. But we found our fathers doing so." 74 Thereupon, Abraham said: "Have you seen (with your eyes) those whom you have been worshipping, 75 You and your ancient forefathers? 76 "Now [as for me, I know that,] verily, these [false deities] are my enemies, [and that none is my helper] save the Sustainer of all the worlds, 77 "Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me; 78 and is the One who gives me to eat and to drink, 79 who, when I am sick, heals me; 80 And Who causeth me to die, then giveth me life (again), 81 And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense." 82 My Lord, bestow wisdom upon me; unite me with the righteous; 83 "Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations); 84 "Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss; 85 Forgive me and my father: He was surely among those who went astray. 86 and do not put me to shame on the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 87 "The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 "But only he (will prosper) that brings to Allah a sound heart; 89 "To the righteous, the Garden will be brought near, 90 And the hell shall be made manifest to the erring ones, 91 and they will be asked: "Where now is all that you were wont to worship 92 other than Allah? Do they help you or even help themselves' 93 Then the idols and those who strayed will be hurled into the Fire headlong, one upon another, 94 And the hosts of Iblis all together. 95 And there and then, blaming one another, they [who had grievously sinned in life] will exclaim: 96 "By Allah, we were indeed in manifest error 97 when we deemed you [false deities] equal to the Sustainer of all the worlds 98 No one but the sinners led us astray. 99 Now we have no intercessors 100 nor a loving friend. 101 But if we could but once return, we would be of the believers. 102 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 103 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
