The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
