Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
