The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we believe in you while the meanest follow you? 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
