The dwellers of Al-Aiyka [near Madyan (Midian)] belied the Messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 I am a trustworthy Messengers. 178 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 179 And I ask of you no wage for it; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give a full measure and be not of those who diminish; 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 And do not wrong men of their things, and do not act corruptly in the earth, making mischief. 183 “And fear Him Who created you and the earlier creations.” 184 They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. 185 “You are just a human like us, and indeed we consider you a liar.” 186 "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!" 187 He said: My Lord knows best what you do. 188 But they belied him, then the punishment of the Day of Shadow (raining fire) seized them. Truly, it was the punishment of a dreadful day. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
