The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 Shu'aib said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 177 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, and be not cheaters, 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They said: "Surely you are deluded. 185 and a mere mortal like us. We think you are a liar. 186 Then drop down on us lumps from heaven, if thou art one of the truthful.' 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day. 189 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
