The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
