The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ TA SIN. THESE are the verses of the Qur'an, and collection of explicit laws, 1 a guidance and glad tidings to believers, 2 who pray regularly and pay obligatory alms and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 3 As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds seem attractive to them so they stumble around in perplexity. 4 Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers. 5 You have received the Koran from the Wise, the Knower. 6 (Remember) when Moses said unto his household: Lo! I spy afar off a fire; I will bring you tidings thence, or bring to you a borrowed flame that ye may warm yourselves. 7 And when he came near it he was called: 'Blessed be who is (Moses) in the fire and (the angels) who are around it! Exaltations to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 8 O Musa! verily it is I, Allah, the Mighty the Wise! 9 “And put down your staff”; so when he saw it writhing like a serpent, he turned moving away without looking back; We said, “O Moosa, do not fear; indeed the Noble Messengers do not fear in My presence.” 10 as for those who do wrong and then do good after evil, I am most forgiving, most merciful. 11 And put thy hand into thy bosom, it shall come forth white, without hurt: amongst nine signs unto Fir'awn and his people. Verily they have been a people transgressing. 12 But when there came to them Our visible signs, they said, "This is obvious magic." 13 And they rejected those Signs in iniquity and arrogance, though their souls were convinced thereof: so see what was the end of those who acted corruptly! 14
