And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say, "It may be that a part of what you would hasten on is close behind you." 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
