Al-Naml 6 of 7
And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Surely thy Lord knows what their hearts conceal, and what they publish. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
