Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 there is nothing hidden in heaven and on earth, but is recorded in a clear Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
