Say, "God is sufficient as a witness between you and me. He knows all that is in the heavens and the earth. Those who believe in falsehood and reject God will surely be the losers." 52 They demand you to bring upon them torment immediately. Had not the time been fixed, the torment would certainly have approached them. It would have come to them suddenly and they would not have even realized how it came. 53 They ask thee to hasten on the Punishment: but, of a surety, Hell will encompass the Rejecters of Faith!- 54 The day the punishment comes upon them from above and underneath their feet, (God will) say: "And now taste of what you had done." 55 O my bondmen who believe! Lo! My earth is spacious. Therefor serve Me only. 56 Every soul will taste death. Then to Us will you be returned. 57 We shall house those who believed and acted righteously in the lofty mansions of Paradise beneath which rivers flow. There they shall remain for ever. How excellent a reward it is for those who acted (in obedience to Allah), 58 Who persevere and place their trust in their Lord. 59 How many living things there are on the earth that do not Store their food; God provides them as well as you. He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 60 And if thou wert to ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, and constrained the sun and the moon (to their appointed work)? they would say: Allah. How then are they turned away? 61 God gives abundantly to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases. God has full knowledge of all things. 62 And if indeed thou ask them who it is that sends down rain from the sky, and gives life therewith to the earth after its death, they will certainly reply, "Allah!" Say, "Praise be to Allah!" But most of them understand not. 63
