۞ It is God who created you of weakness, then after weakness gave you strength, then after strength will give you weakness and grey hair. Surely He makes whatever He wills. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. 54 The day Resurrection is set the sinners will swear: "We did not tarry more than an hour (and cannot be guilty)." That is how they have always been deceived. 55 Those who have received knowledge and have faith will say, "By the decree of God, you have remained for the exact period which was mentioned in the Book of God about the Day of Resurrection. This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know." 56 So on that day the unjust will not benefit from their excuses, nor will anyone ask them for compensation. 57 And certainly We have set forth for men every kind of example in this Quran; and if you should bring them a communication, those who disbelieve would certainly say: You are naught but false claimants. 58 This is how Allah sets seal upon the hearts of the ignorant. 59 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true; and let not those who have not sure faith make thee unsteady. 60
