۞ Allah is He Who created you from a state of weakness then He gave strength after weakness, then ordained weakness and hoary hair after strength; He creates what He pleases, and He is the Knowing, the Powerful. 54 On the Day the Last Hour arrives, the evil-doers will swear they have not even tarried for an hour, they have always been deluded, 55 And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not." 56 So on that Day no excuse of theirs will avail the transgressors, nor will they be invited (then) to seek grace (by repentance). 57 We have told people various parables in this Quran. Even if you had shown them a miracle, the unbelievers would have said, "You are only the followers of falsehood". 58 Thus does Allah seal up the hearts of those who understand not. 59 so have patience [O Muhammad]! God's promise is true; let not those who will not be convinced make you discouraged. 60
