Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 There is no doubt that this Book is revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 2 Will they say: he hath fabricated it? Aye! it is the truth from thy Lord, that thou mayest warn therewith a people unto whom no warner came before thee, that haply they may be guided. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth, and all what is between them, in six days, then (befitting His Majesty) established Himself over the Throne (of control); leaving Allah, there is neither a friend nor an intercessor for you; so do you not ponder? 4 He directs all affairs from heaven to earth. Then all will again ascend to Him on a Day whose length is a thousand years by the way you measure. 5 He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 6 Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay. 7 then He causes him to be begotten out of the essence of a humble fluid; 8 Then made him proper and blew into him a spirit from Him, and bestowed ears and eyes and hearts to you; very little thanks do you offer! 9 They have said, "How can we be brought to life again after we have been lost in the earth?" In fact, they have no faith in the Day of Judgment 10 ۞ Say: 'Death's angel, who has been charged with you, shall gather you, then to your Lord you shall be returned.' 11
